Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmieres du Quebec (OIIQ). In order to practice as a nurse in Quebec, a nursing license must be obtained from the OIIQ. Upon completing three years of nrusing school, students can sign up to write the exam held by the government of Quebec. With this license come many responsibilities. Santa Cabrini Hospital is a small community hospital located in the east of Montreal. It is part of a bigger organization called centre integre univeristaire de sante et de services sociaux de l’Est-de-l’ile-de-Montreal (CIUSSS) in which another hospital and several clinics in the east of Montreal are part of. The mission is to provide short-term general and specialized medical care for users.
